Nasturtium Petal Spice Cake

Nasturtiums like weather on the cooler side. In areas with sizzling summers, they grow best in early spring or autumn. As the autumn days get shorter nasturtiums will still show many blossoms until the first frost unless you live in an area where it doesn't freeze.

This spice cake is decorated with nasturtium flower petals. Half of the petals on an “Alaska” flower bloom have stripes where the petal meets the stem. I used those petals for decorating.

Sliced and ready to eat. Where is the tea?
